Based in Sunderland and reporting to the Customer Financial Services Team Lead this role will focus on:-
• Ensuring accurate logging of incoming customer claims (Shipment, returns, invoice, defectives)
• Organising daily, weekly and monthly tasks to ensure progress and resolution of customer claims and aiding measurable improvement in cash collection and customer satisfaction.
• Working within and integrated account team or customer account base providing regular feedback to customers and all internal stakeholders including Sales, Customer Service operations and Laakdal about the resolution of claims. Aiming to build and maintain a solid relationship.
• Communicate professionally, effectively and tactfully through spoken and written communication cross functionally and with customers.
• Identifying trends and supporting claim prevention where possible.
An understanding of supply chain and processes is preferred for this role. On a personal level, candidates must be well organised with the ability to plan and prioritise their workload to meet challenging deadlines and possess excellent communication skills. A flexible and positive approach to each day is necessary as is being a creative and decisive problem solver.
