Job Description
Reporting to the general manager the role of chief engineer is key to the future development of this strategic manufacturing site. This is a business critical role with responsibility for all engineering related activities on site.
Your role is to provide strategic direction and leadership in order to drive cultural change within a traditional engineering environment. You will be required to set engineering standards, introduce modern engineering methods and coach and develop staff to deliver a world class engineering function.
Candidate Description
As an experienced engineering leader you will be able to demonstrate excellent technical and leadership skills developed within a modern manufacturing environment. You must have previous experience of managing cultural change within a traditional engineering environment. Food experience would be an advantage but is not essential. You will have strong personal drive, clear communication and coaching skills and a desire to drive engineering performance through clear objectives. The role offers an excellent basic salary, car, bonus and benefits package.
