We are currently representing a client who requires an experienced Assistant Accountant for a 3 month Temporary Contract to start at short notice.
Our client with a finance team of 15 based at the office in South Shields is looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Accountant.
You will report to the Financial Accounts Supervisor and work as part of a team ensuring month end procedures are met to deadline.
The role is hands on and you will be expected to assist across all levels within the finance department to include:
Posting journals
Specific accruals and prepayments
Dealing with Tax issues
Posting payroll
Financial accounts preparation
Account analysis
Monthly reports
Month end production
Balance sheet reconciliations
Ideally you will have Oracle experience although this is not essential.
