Our client is a leading supplier of sheet metal components, assemblies and light fabrications. They are currently looking for a CAD CAM Draughtsperson to join their team because of expansion...
THE ROLE
* Working on various drawings for customers, creating drawings from scratch or recreating drawings given from client using the CAD system
* Turning 3D models into 2D and 3D drawings
* Turning fully assembled parts into piece parts and folding piece parts then eventually into developing blanks for CNC machining
* Part of a 5 person team
THE PERSON
* Must have experience of 2D & 3D CAD CAM Systems including Solidworks and ideally Inventor
* Must have a strong background in engineering or sheet metal work
* Have a sound understanding of fabricated parts and the behaviour of metal
* Will ideally have worked in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, stairlifts, white goods or similar
* Willing to work overtime as and when needed
THE PACKAGE
* £18,000 - £25,000 dep on exp
* Monday - Thursday 8 - 5
* Friday 8 - 12
* 32 days holiday inc. stats
