Our client is a market leader within the transmission and distribution sectors, they are currently looking for a Services Project Manager to join there prestigious team. If you have previous project management experience within an offshore, rail, heavy engineering or electrical transmission industry then this could be the position for you...
THE ROLE
* Typically managing 3 medium sized projects at any one time totalling £1 million - £5 million
* Responsible for each project P & L performance whilst developing and maintaining excellent customer relationships to achieve long-term customer retention and satisfaction for growth potential
* Direct, lead and motivate full project team to provide successful project delivery
* Develop full understanding of the contract and pursue opportunities to facilitate change, increase revenue and reduce threats to improve financial performance
THE PERSON
* The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and ideally be a chartered engineer
* Will also have a certified project management accreditation e.g. APM, Prince 2 or similar
* Extensive experience in a broad based project management role within an offshore, rail, heavy engineering or electrical transmission industry
* Demonstrable evidence of successful project execution and management of multi-disciplined project teams and 3rd parties
* Awareness of current HSE legislation as well as knowledge of commercial contractual terms & conditions
* Detailed knowledge and practical application of project management tools and methodologies as well as implementation of process improvement/culture change programmes
