Client Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer within a rapidly growing multi-billion dollar company.
Job Description
Reporting to the UK Sales Manager the successul candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing the key interface between sales and business units
- Providing technical specifications, feasibility and cost analysis, project planning, sampling and validation for engineering solutions
- Liaising with business units to find the most appropriate technical solutions with respect to technology, profitability, competitively and sustainability.
- Involvement in all other activities which contribute to delivering excellent customer service
The successful candidate will spend the first two months in Switzerland for training before returning to the NE office. Thereafter the candidate will be based in Newcastle with trips to Switzerland, Hong Kong and Germany over the coming year.
Package: Up to £28k basic + laptop + blackberry + bonus (typically 10% although uncapped)
