Client Description
My client is involved in the design and manufacture of complete engineering systems including, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, electronic and control systems for the oil & gas, renewable and telecoms markets.
Job Description
Due to continued growth of the business and product range there is a need for experienced design engineers to join their team to work on exciting new projects. The role will involve working within multifunctional design teams and being the engineering lead on projects, working the design through from conception to completion.
Candidate Description
Suitable candidates will have a related engineering degree with a thorough understanding of engineering principles, sound practical skills, a proven ability to produce designs for high value machines and an enthusiasm for creativity.
Experience in the marine or energy industries would be an advantage but is not essential. Applications are welcome from mechanical design engineers who may not have exposure in these markets but whose experiences have resulted in a detailed understanding of machine design to meet challenging requirements and operating conditions. Experience of using Inventor and AutoCAD will also be useful.
