Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role. You must be able to demonstrate the ability not only to produce food to the highest standard but to work both as part of a team and using your own initiative. As the chef de partie you will be required to prepare, cook and serve the menu to specified standards, maintain the standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen, carry out daily temperature checks on hot and cold food and deliveries, help out with clearing down during and at the end of the shift and any other duties as and when required. NVQ level 1 & 2 in catering would be an advantage, however if you have good quality experience this is not essential. A basic food hygiene certificate is essential
