To identify and develop new business opportunities which will generate the maximum amount of profitable sales through the achievement of sales targets and by making new customers aware of the company’s product range.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Pro-actively generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against mutually agreed sales targets.
2.Identify and exploit new sales opportunities with existing and potential customers.
3.Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited.
4.Establish and maintain effective communication links with other PGS offices to identify all sales opportunities.
5.Maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts and reports to enable effective forward planning.
6.Maintain awareness of company products and of relevant sales techniques to ensure that the sales role is carried out as effectively as possible.
7.To research and analyse internal and external market information to enable the business units to identify opportunities and develop products and services, which will support business objectives.
8.Support the sales management team by providing them with research results, which will assist in decision making.
