Job Description
In order to maintain its position as a key supplier in the sector and develop opportunities with new clients and markets the company wishes to further develop the quality function. This is a business critical role that will develop customer relationships and drive manufacturing quality. As quality manager you will have responsibility for the review, development and implementation of a world class quality management system that addresses a number of key areas such as reporting, customer issues, standard manufacturing practices, customer and supplier development, training, development and continuous improvement. The role also offers immediate or progressive responsibility for the management of health safety and environment. This is a key role offering an exciting opportunity to help shape the development and growth of an SME business.
Candidate Description
You will be an experienced and pragmatic quality manager with knowledge of engineered products preferably within a bespoke or low volume manufacturer. As an individual you will be passionate, analytical and detailed focused to drive to root cause solutions. You will be process driven developing reporting tools to communicate and drive best practice across all levels of the business. As a functional expert you must be able to demonstrate an ability to communicate and influence at board level. Previous experience of continuous improvement and knowledge of health and safety would be an advantage.
