Our client is a leading supplier of electrical protection devices. They design and manufacture relays for the world-wide protection and control market. They are currently looking for a production supervisor to join their very prestigious company..
THE ROLE:
*Working with a team of other supervisors you will be responsible for up to 30 staff on the production shop floor
*You will be responsible for the supervision of general production and day to day monitoring departmental performance
*Be part of ongoing projects looking at anything from improvement of quality, cost reducing and health & safety procedures onsite.
*Delivering morning meetings with your team / presenting in monthly management meetings
THE PERSON:
*The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience with in a manufacturing environment
*Understand the urgency to deliver QUALITY to deadlines
*A good understanding of Lean manufacturing techniques
*Have a knowledge of an electronics environment dealing with PCB’s, assembly of anti static components, surface mount and flow solar machines
*Demonstrate good decision making skills
*Have good communication skills to be able to deliver clear precise information to your team and managers
*Must be PC literate, and experience with MRP systems would be desirable
THE PACKAGE:
*Flexible for shift rotation or dayshift
*up to 28k depending on experience
*This is a temp to perm option
