COMPANY
My Client is a Multi-national organisation specialising in the manufacture of a product whose end application is the power generation and oil and gas sectors
ROLE
They are currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Structural Engineer who will be responsible for the following:
1. Mechanical and structural design of company products and systems for power generation, oil and gas and similar industrial projects worldwide.
2. Producing cost-effective designs, in-compliance with specified requirements, within budget and to pre-defined deadlines.
3. Participating in research and development of new products and optimisation of existing product range.
4. Provision of technical support to sales, projects, manufacturing and customer service departments.
5. Reviewing of client specifications, clearly identifying technical, engineering and commercial requirements, and risks.
6. Identification of areas of improvement in design working methods or efficiencies.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
PERSON
The successful candidate will ideally posess the following attributes:
- Minimum education level of HNC or higher in an engineering related discipline.
- Experience in either the oil and gas or power generation sectors.
- Experience with providing detailed mechanical and structural designs.
