Our client, a market leader based in the Teesside area is urgently seeking an Accounts Payable Project Manager to join their busy accounts function on a temp to perm basis. The job role entails managing an accounts payable team of between 10 to 15 people in a large volume, high-pressure processing environment. This position has a strong leaning towards a technologically advanced approach to accounts payable, and a strong aptitude towards IT systems would prove invaluable in this role. A solid background in accountancy would be a huge advantage as other duties include closing month end accounts, maintaining the Master Vendor, generating reports in a timely manner and ad hoc projects as and when required. Big company experience would be advantageous.Successful candidates must have strong leadership abilities, be experienced at working in a challenging and fluid business environment, and be able to hit the ground running whilst adding value immediately. Delegation and time management skills are essential for the role. You will be rewarded by excellent rates of pay, impressive bonus structure, and the opportunity for a permanent position.
