Location: Wallington, Morpeth, Northumberland.

What could be more rewarding than seeing people enjoy lovingly-prepared food in a beautiful setting such as Wallington? Especially when it’s a menu you’ve helped to create. A proactive, positive asset to our catering team, you’ll find yourself doing exactly that, working at the heart of our vision to ensure everyone who touches the National Trust has an unforgettable experience.

A stickler for standards, you’ll combine your certificate in Food Hygiene and understanding of Health and Safety with your natural flair for teamwork and cool head under pressure, to inspire all those around you. With great baking skills, you love creating wonderful home made cakes. Ordering ingredients, preparing dishes using local produce and helping with functions will all be part of the job, but most importantly, you’ll be unwaveringly customer-focused to make sure every impression we make is a great - and lasting - one.

You’ll work two days a week for 20 weeks of the year, and five days a week for the remaining 32 weeks. Which means you’ll work a total of 1,440 hours per annum, depending on property requirements.
