| My Client, an International market leader in the Engineering sector based in Darlington is seeking a Shared Service Manager to join their exciting team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain extensive exposure to other Directors of the firm and to liaise with other departments within the company. There is a leaning towards candidates who are keen advocates of change, who have the foresight and direction to take the company forward. The key aim of the job role consists of direct management of the five UKSS managers, namely Purchase Ledger, Cash Management and Payroll who in turn manage a total staff of fifty. Other objectives include maintaining and developing relationships with divisional businesses, assessing and coordinating changes to processes and systems, oversee production of monthly VAT returns and the review and authorisation of UKSS payments. Successful candidates with be ACA/ACCA Qualified Accountants with an extensive knowledge of the COINS system, strong man-management skills and possessing good experience in a transaction and processing environment.
