| We are currently recruiting for a Key skills Tutor to work for a growing training provider based in North Tyneside. Our client is now expanding its service levels to clients within the Tyne and Wear Area. The Role of the Key Skills Tutor will be to instruct adult learners on Key Skills Literacy embedded through specific health care courses. Typical Duties of the Key Skills Tutor To contribute to learners personal development and responsibility for there own learning. To be responsible for carrying out diagnostic of Initial assessments. To have a good understanding of the Core Curriculum for adults. To support learners through the Learning Journey and associated assessment activity. To provide learners with prompt, accurate and constructive feedback (written and verbal) concerning their competence and progress. To ensure that learners remain motivated and on target to complete their award within the agreed timescale To ensure that systems and documentation for assessment and internal verification/standardisation meet the standards required by the centre and the awarding bodies. To be prepared to travel to our clients around the Tyne and Wear Area To attend team standardisation meetings when required. To work with other team members to offer a flexible and high quality of service. To maintain individual learner paperwork. Experience Required The successful candidate will be required to have relevant qualifications or working towards Key Skills or ESOL Own Transport as the role to be cover the Tyne and Wear Area (Mileage allowance is provided) D32/D33 or equivalent award or working towards the award is desirable Client Overview Our client works with all sizes of companies and partner employees through various NVQ Programmes. Starting salary is 16000- 22000 and the position is available immediate. Our client now employs 90+ employees and has a very expansive and promising future.
