| Based in our Clients Leeds office, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a top National firms Professional and Financial Risks Team. The team advises insurers and professional organisations when they are faced with the threat of a professional negligence claim. They act on numerous high value and sensitive claims for clients throughout the UK and the rest of Europe, including accountants, architects, brokers, engineers, lawyers and their insurers. The team is particularly experienced in the deployment of alternative dispute resolution techniques, including mediation and arbitration. You will be handling a case load focused on a mix of professional indemnity cases and developing and maintaining close relations with our insurer clients and their insureds. You will be assisting with non-fee-earning activities as appropriate, including contributing to marketing, training and knowledge sharing and possibly take responsibility for the informal supervision and coaching of less experienced members of the team. Ideally you will be 4 – 6 years PQE with good experience in litigation and a strong academic record. You will ideally have professional indemnity and insurance coverage experience, and strong technical skills and an ability to get to grips with complex issues. Within this role you will need good time management, ability to work in a team environment, confident communicator and speaker with an ability to develop relationships. |
