Key Duties and Responsibilities
Production Support and Development:
• To manage Production Orders at operational level ensuring correct priorities and personnel levels are given to production orders and plant availability in order to satisfy customer sales orders.
• Liaise with production planning system to ensure efficient utilization of plant and labour.
• To contribute to the effective planning, control and reworking of NFS and Slow Moving stock.
• Contribute to setting production based targets and carry out periodic review with operational personnel.
• Reporting as required on production tonnages, quality issues and plant utilization.
• Identify bottlenecks in existing equipment and report solutions.
• Use problem solving techniques in order to highlight faults and problems and implement findings.
• Review new techniques within the industry and implement improved practices where appropriate.
• Participate in technical projects and establish new procedures from original concept through to commissioning.
• Introduce 5S/6sigma principle to site operations.
The Candidate
Ideally you will Posses a relevant management qualification, and have some engineering and or process knowledge (although other relevant qualifications along with relevant experience will be also be considered).
