| My client is a design consultancy specialising in brand, print and interactivity. They bind these together to produce complete communication platforms for organisations and initiatives. Now in their fourteenth year,we are a 19-strong team with distinctly different talents, backgrounds and experiences. We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-looking individual to fit in well with the company. As Web Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a wide variety of web projects, from documentation right through to testing and launch - on time and within budget. You will be confident and articulate; able to drive projects from the outset and keep them on track during challenging parts of the process. Candidates must have commercial experience of managing web projects in an agency environment. You will be educated to degree level, preferably with qualifications in established Project Management methodologies such as PRINCE2 and experience of resource allocation, financial tracking and the handling of client relationships. You will have a sound knowledge of the web design and development process, including an understanding of: Documentation such as specifications, sitemaps and wireframes Information architecture Content Management Systems Affiliate marketing and SEO eCommerce Accessibility, usability and standards You will also have an understanding of, and be able to talk confidently about, the purpose of the following technologies: XHTML CSS Flash JavaScript Server-side languages such as PHP, ASP.NET, JSP Databases AJAX A full driving licence is also required |
