An exciting opportunity has arisen with my clients finance team for a part qualified or qualified CIMA Management Accountant on a nine-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity absence. The role involves managing the manufacturing cost accounting process in accordance with the monthly reporting timetable, advising the Production area management team on all finance matters so as to promote effective cost management and control, to plan, co-ordinate and compile budgets and forecasts for use by the Production Area Management team, to monitor and develop the control mechanisms, to ensure that expenditures are properly authorised, controlled and recorded, assist the Finance Manager in all aspects of monitoring, forecasting and controlling of production and cost data, assist in the development of Business processes to further improve site controls, data integrity and data presentation, and to ensure that all inventories are accounted for and that appropriate controls are in place to accurately capture product movements.Successful candidates would be either CIMA full or part qualified with at least 5 years successful work experience in a finance function role. Other characteristics required would be having strong analytical and problem solving skills, being a good team player with SAP experience if possible.
