Our client is a major Conference and Banqueting venue in Teesside the main function of the post is to:
MAXIMISE GUEST SATIFACTION AND PROFITABILTY WITHIN CONFERENCE and BANQUETING

Your duties will include:

Acting as direct contact for the Event Organiser on the day

To aid in planning for meetings and special events by meeting with individual Event
Organisers, and supporting the Director of Sales function at the venue when not there

To work pro-actively to minimise complaints from delegates

Maximises delegate satisfaction by communicating customer specifications to conference and banqueting and kitchen staff.

Follows-up with guests to determine satisfaction; measures results

To Conduct daily inspections of the conference and banqueting facilities to ensure the facilities are kept in the best condition, and recommend preventive maintenance.

Ensures that all AV equipment is in good working order

Conduct a stock take of all equipment on a monthly basis

Create and maintain a system to list most frequent customers by: Number of delegates,
and revenues

Ensures compliance with specifications of conference and banquet orders by working closely with the Conference Coordinator

Create and maintain an account management plan for top 50 accounts

Working closely with Director of Sales on occupancy ratio's and achieving sales targets

In the event of sickness and holiday to be able to cover for the Conference Reservations Co coordinator
