We are looking for a Technical Financial Planning Advisor to join our financial planning and wealth management team. This role may be based in either our Head office in Carlisle, or our Leeds office.
Reporting to the Compliance & Operations Director, you will provide technical support to the financial planning consultants in specialised advisory areas. This is a key role in the provision of high quality customer focused advice to clients that will draw on all technical disciplines.
Specifics of this role include interpreting changing legislation – identifying sales opportunities from these and how best sales practice should be implemented, accompanying consultants to client meetings on technical areas as required, impact assessment of all key tax changes, critical analysis and assessment of new products to the market and delivering technical presentations to the sales team on a regular basis.
Applicants for this post must hold the full AFPC qualification, including G60 or equivalent, have relevant experience of working within the financial services industry and be able to make presentations under pressure. Strong personal skills and a sales focus are essential, as is the ability to make decisions, and having the confidence to deal directly with client queries.
