Acorn Care & Nursing Ltd

We are a privately run business based in South Shields, Tyne and Wear.

We also provide Domiciliary Care in South Tyneside offering a wide range of services, tasks, to our clients. Our care packages are tailored to the specific agreed needs of the individual.

Our aim is to provide fully trained and experienced Nurses, Health Care Assistants and support workers to Hospitals, care homes, industry and charities throughout the North East of England, who have short term staffing requirements.

We realise that our success depends on the individuals that work for us therefore we are very selective in the people who we recruit, they will be fully vetted, have the necessary qualifications, and be experienced in the tasks which you expect them to undertake.

Our staff will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all the clients in their care and be sensitive to their ever changing needs

All our staff will comply with ‘The Code of Practice for Social Care Workers’. A staff training programme is in place to ensure that the high standards expected are maintained in line with the latest initiatives and techniques and equipments used in hospitals and care homes.

We will ask for feedback on a regular basis, on the quality of the service which we provide and this will also include our administration staff. This will help us to improve our service to clients on an ongoing basis.
