A fantastic opportunity for an Online Marketing / SEO Executive to join a well-established company that specialise in navigational, camping and outdoor equipment.

Based in Cramlington near Newcastle, the role will encompass website content management, search engine optimisation, PR and social media, affiliate development, email marketing, and sales analysis.

You will possess fluent and attractive writing skills, creative ideas as well as a good design skills and great commercial judgement. As a confident and professional individual, you will also have close attention to detail and a pro-active attitude.

Key Tasks:

- Develop on-going strategic marketing and promotional plans, building the brand(s) and evaluating campaigns
- Ensure maximum visitors, usability and conversion rates by maintaining and developing a portfolio of online websites and sales channels
- Develop the affiliate retail programme and proactively communicate with affiliate networks
- Contribute to the creative ideas of the department and take initiative to bring new campaigns, promotions, and ideas to the business
- Help manage online PR campaigns, respond to media enquiries, and write and proofread content for social media and press releases
- Assist with managing and monitoring PPC programmes and organic SEO campaigns to drive quality traffic to the business website(s)
- Assist with sales and promotions reporting and analysis
- Develop and monitor email marketing and other digital marketing campaigns
- Assist in conducting online and offline market and customer research
- Monitor competitor activity and pricing

Relevant Experience and Qualifications:

- Mix of broad marketing skills, and preferably specific knowledge of online marketing in an online retail environment
- Ideally some technical knowledge of website structure, design and SEO and PPC

Salary £17-22K depending on experience.
