As Sales Director for the UK and Ireland you will be firmly at the centre of this innovative and critically important approach, ensuring the optimum business structure is in place and leading your region to its full potential.
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a challenging sales leadership role with a clear emphasis on growth and profitability, managing a dedicated local resource and working closely with the global and other regional teams to ensure that your markets are exploited with maximum impact.
There will be a clear emphasis on identifying and creating new and innovative business opportunities – sales and service - evaluating these and driving them forward to successful outcomes. Developing senior customer relationships and supporting global account management are also key priorities.
A highly accomplished Sales Director is required, intellectually strong you will be degree qualified ideally in an engineering discipline and possibly with an MBA. You will have a successful track record supplying the water supply/waste water business and have an in depth technical capability and a detailed understanding of the dynamics of this sector – experience within a large international group will be a distinct advantage. Your sales credentials will most certainly have included relationships at strategic account level. A sharp strategic thinker, with an innovative mindset, you will be self driven with a reputation for identifying new initiatives; with a collaborative style you will be a convincing team player.
